Ashley Rose is a freelance photographer with a wide ranging portfolio and a particular interest in the concepts of place and how sociological and anthropological significance alters the mere physical existence of places.  She works principally outdoors with natural light but is a versatile photographer with varied interests.

Ashley earned an MA Photography with distinction from Falmouth University in January of 2020 and has been a awarded an Associateship in the Royal Photographic Society. She is also a guest lecturer at Falmouth University for the BA and MA Photography Programmes, and is frequently invited to speak about photography and her work by various organisations..

An American by birth she focuses most of her work in the North of Scotland where she lives with her husband for much of the year.
